At Shore Neuropsychology and Behavioral Health, we provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to assess patients’ cognitive and psychological status.

Common areas of assessment include overall intellectual abilities, visual and verbal memory skills, immediate and sustained attention, processing speed, executive functioning, motor functioning, perceptual reasoning, expressive and receptive language abilities, and visual spatial skills. Our Neuropsychological Evaluations also include an assessment of adaptive behavior, academic achievement and emotional functioning.

Individualized Neuropsychological Evaluations include detailed analysis of test results and personalized intervention strategies. Our clinicians provide further support in implementing recommendations. Our goal is to provide quality clinical care to patients and their families. We work closely with referring professionals to ensure the most comprehensive treatment possible. A Neuropsychological Evaluation is recommended for any case in which brain-based impairment in cognitive function or behavior is suspected.

Typical referrals are made to diagnose or rule out the following conditions, and to describe their impact on a person’s cognitive functioning:

Academic and Learning Difficulties
Attention Deficit Disorder
Executive Function Weakness
